Like many volleyball Filipinos, my parents raised me to be an employee volleyball

As a result, I spent the first 29 years of my professional life working for somebody else volleyball

I didn’t go into business for myself until I was 50 years old volleyball

Our first food business was Thirsty Juices and Shakes, which we bought from the Osmeñas in 1996 (our school, PlayHouse Children Center, opened a few years earlier) volleyball

Eleven years later, we acquired Mooon Cafe which introduced us to the highly competitive restaurant business volleyball

From there, we opened Lantaw Native Restaurant, Cafe Racer Diner, House of Lechon, Top of Cebu, Yahay Food Park, Chixboy BBQ, Matana Cafe, Maretes Seafood Cajun Restaurant, Ribhouse Restaurant, Mr volleyball

Sizzlers Unli Rice + Gravy, Manong’s Butterfry Chicken and recently, Pinutos ni Manong volleyball

We are also opening five more restaurants before the end of 2023 volleyball

I’m proud to say that my family built our businesses, which now employ over 1,500 people, the old-fashioned way volleyball

How this happened to someone with limited resources, average intelligence, and zero business experience is a big question volleyball
